Where Sparrow girl represent my years 2-6, walks in the woods will be the same kind of “through the child’s eyes” musings, but older eyes, age 7-10.. Sparrow girl was easier to connect with and the life of a very young child are so uncomplicated and linear, by age 8 everything was becoming a side-issue and the real issue was well buried somewhere so it should not bite me on the ass. I have completed a total of 16 Sparrow Girl stories, so I thought I could indulge in a jumping ahead a little.
